I bought some new running shoes this week.  Vibrams Five Fingers.  Despite some sage advice from Michael Hyatt, I ran 1.5 miles in them (on Thursday).  My calfs have been killing me, but the “shoes” themselves felt great to run in.  Follow Me on Pinterest

Thanks for the mention, Thad!

I have seen many people running is this type of shoe and have always been curious about them. Keep us updated on whether or not you like them for running!

After reading about these and the experience of others when they first got them I have taken everything to heart. I did go out the first day they arrived and ran 1.2 miles (my usual run is 3 – 5 miles). The next two days my calfs were killing me! It is like I have not been running for past 6 years. So now I am working myself into them with a goal of running in them permanently in 6 weeks.

As to how they feel on the feet, it is very good. Exhilarating even. It feels like the way you ran when you were a kid.
